MMG Productions
MMG Productions is an award-winning, full-service video/TV
production company.
The company is winner of Telly Awards for the documentary, No
Turning Back" World War II Glider Pilots, "The
Eight Missions" documentary of the right missions
of the WWII Glider Pilots; G Stands for Guts. Additionally,
MMG has made other documentaries for the the glider pilots
and 101st Airborne, including archival video for the WWII
Glider Pilots National Museum in Lubbock, Texas.
Most recently, MMG Productions received the Aurora Award
for documentary-historical event for their documentary, The
City of Isle of Palms 50th Anniversary.
Husband and wife team Doug and Garia Wilmer have many years
of combined experience in video and television production.
They have produced television series covering NASCAR, sports
cars and Indy cars and have traveled the country to document
the races, museums, private collections and many personal
stories.
Doug has operated the camera crane flying over Elton John
for a live BBC performance and has been onstage operating
the camera as Dolly Parton performed.
Garia has written scripts and directed award-winning projects.
The Isle of Palms 50th anniversary documentary required one
year of research and 35 on-camera interviews.
The couple have documented the Palmetto Regional Robotics
tournament for the last three years, producing a half-hour
show for PBS-ETV each year.
